Bounce rate.

You know those websites you look at for a bit, then leave? That’s bouncing. The same way you bounce from a dull party.

Basically, it means someone has left your website without converting (making a purchase or contacting you). The higher your bounce rate, the more people are leaving your site before they buy. So, you’re always aiming to get your bounce rate as low as possible – usually by improving the quality of your content.

A bounce rate below 55% is generally considered healthy. If you’ve got one lower than that, you’re doing amazing.
